Radio flyer makes two versions of this balance bike, one with air tires and one with foam tires. This is the listing for the one with air tires. However Amazon sent me the wrong one the first time. In my opinion the air tires are much nicer – they give more traction and a smother ride, especially if it will be used on uneven road. The foam tires and okay because they don’t need upkeep but they are slippy (definitely not good for indoor use) and get rocks and things embedded in them easily.
